BOTANICAL RESIN WORKSHOP Saturday 12th September, 2-4pm, £40. With Jenny, you will create resin pieces, using pressed plants and natural pieces (or any small flattish object/treasure you want to bring yourself) to embed in a key tag, pendant, bookmark or coaster.
BAG MAKING with Trudi Leach of Bag-a-TELuk. Sunday 13th September, 10am-1pm, £55 per person.
Using your own sewing machine you will be guided through the making of a beautiful tote/ shopping bag at this lovely, informative, confidence giving workshop. A choice of fabrics will be offered upon confirmation of booking. Maximum 5 spaces available.

New to The Little Studio, in these exciting workshops with acclaimed artist Vivian Riches you will learn to build up fluid layers and exciting textural effects using oil paint and cold wax medium. A perfect way for beginners or improvers to create a unique work of Art! Cost No experience necessary. Enjoy leaning how to draft your template and stitch beautiful designs in metallic thread to create stunning artwork or cards. PRINTING ON FABRIC Saturday 10th October, 2-4pm, £35 with Jenny. Using beautiful wooden blocks from Jenny's wonderful collection of wooden print blocks, learn how to create repeat patterns and print your own unique pieces of fabric, then you will add embroidered stitches to your design.
JUNK JOURNALING Thursday 22nd October, 7-9pm £20 with Jooles. Another evening of fun learning new techniques and creating pages for our Journals. To book email Jooles at namastebyjp@gmail.com
LINOCUT Saturday 7th November, 1.30-5pm, £45, with Alison. You will learn the basics of linocut, from design through to cutting and printing your image. Suitable for beginners. Your prints can be printed on greetings cards - might be a time to start thinking about creating your own Festive cards!
BOTANICAL PLASTER RELIEF Saturday 14th November, with Jenny, 2-4.30pm £35. Create your own nature inspired plaster relief piece, using beautiful botanics you will create and cast your own plaster plaque.
CHRISTMAS MARBLING Saturday 21st November 2-4pm £40 with Jenny. Achieve unique results with this true heritage craft, learn to marble ceramic baubles for Christmas. You will make 3 baubles each and some cards and tags.
DECORATED PASTE PAPERS Saturday 5th December, with Jenny, 2-4pm £35. Create beautiful papers for collages, crafts or journaling. Paste papers are among the earliest forms of decorated papers using starch, water and pigment.
CHRISTMAS CANDLE MAKING Saturday 12th December, 2-4:30pm, £45 per person. Ever wondered why your candles don’t burn properly? Curious about the science of candle making? Want to spend a fun, relaxing couple of hours? Join us for a hands-on candle-making experience where you’ll discover the step-by-step candle-making process, choose your scents, pour and decorate your own candles. You will make 2 full size candles to take home on the day. (28th November now full)
OIL PAINTING with Jeri, £45 per person. Enjoy a relaxed, beginner-friendly oil painting workshop where you will be guided step by step through creating your own finished artwork. You will learn the basics of colour mixing, brush techniques, composition, and working with oil paints in a supportive, creative setting. No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Just bring yourself and a willingness to make a piece of art that is truly yours. CLAY TRINKET DISH MAKING with Jeri £25. Create your own beautiful clay trinket dish in this relaxed, beginner-friendly two-part workshop using air-dry clay! You will learn simple shaping and decorating techniques to make a unique little dish for jewellery, keys, keepsakes, or whatever small objects inevitably migrate across the house. In the first session, you will sculpt and personalise your dish. Once it has dried, return for the second session the following week to paint, decorate, and finish your creation. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided but if your workshop runs over the lunch period, we suggest you bring a packed lunch. All materials for workshops are provided, unless otherwise stated.
