RESIN KEYRING AND PENDANT MAKING Saturday 27th April, with Jenny Samuels, £35 2-4pm. You will create your own charming pendant and keyring from resin set with your own selection of botanical or other interesting tiny objects, all materials provided.

SILVER NECKLACE MAKING with Jana B Jewellery. Sunday 28th April. £65 10am-1pm. You will create a stunning Silver Pendant with a Cultured Pearl insert, all materials provided.

LINOCUT Saturday 11th May 2-5pm with studio owner Alison. £35 per person. You will learn to design and create your linocut, which you print on greetings cards and paper on the day and you will be able to take home to use for endless reprinting.

PLANT LABEL MAKING Saturday 18th May 1-4pm with James Robertson. £40 per person. You will create a set of 6 beautiful hand whittled rustic plant labels. Suitable for anyone over 16 with reasonable wrist and hand strength.

SILVER SPINNER RING Sunday 26th May 10am - 2pm with Jana. Prices vary depending on the width of your ring and the number of spinning rings you add. Make your own sterling silver spinner ring, with up to three rings spinning around it. Fee includes all materials and tools needed to make this ring and you will learn all the techniques required to make it, so you can wear it home knowing you made it entirely yourself. 1cm with 1 spinning ring £82 1.5cm plus 1 £97, 1.5cm plus 2 £105, 1.5cm with 3 spinning rings £115.

KNIFE SHARPENING Sunday 2nd June, 10am - 1pm. NEW! A workshop with James Robertson where you will learn all about making your knives functionally sharp and safer, no more frustrating blunt knives, squashing rather than cutting your tomatoes and tearing your roast apart. £45 covers all materials and a basic sharpening kit for you to take home.

SPOON CARVING FOR BEGINNERS Sunday 9th June. 10am-3pm, £75. Carve your own spoon using green wood, with woodcarver James Robertson of Wuud Carving. All instruction, tools and materials will be provided for you to create your own unique wooden spoon. Suitable for anyone over 16 with reasonable wrist and hand strength.

WOODLAND WALKING STICK MAKING Saturday 22nd June 10am - 1pm £40. With woodworker James Robertson, your workshop will take you out into a woodland where you will learn to select, cut and finish your own walking stick. You will make your stick uniquely your own, learning how to finish it, then you will leave armed with the correct oil to protect your stick when it has dried.

LEATHERWORK Sunday 30th June 10am - 4.30pm, £110 - leatherwork expert Paul Bradley returns to the studio for another of his popular courses. You will receive all the tuition and materials required to complete a beautiful leather notebook.

RUSTIC PLANT LABEL MAKING Saturday 6th July 1-4pm with James Robertson. £40 per person. You will create a set of 6 beautiful hand whittled plant labels. Suitable for anyone over 16 with reasonable wrist and hand strength.

STILL LIFE DRAWING Sunday 7th July 10.30am - 4.30pm £70 per person including a light lunch. Alison will guide you through the skills required to complete a still life drawing by the end of this day long workshop. All materials will be provided. Suitable for beginners or those wishing to dust off their drawing skills.

CYANOTYPE PRINTING Saturday 10th August, with Jenny Samuels, 11am-1pm £35. A chance to use the power of light to create beautiful cyanotype images. All materials provided.

BOTANICAL PLASTER RELIEF Saturday 14th September, with Jenny Samuels, 2-4.30pm £40. All materials provided to create your own nature inspired plaster relief piece.

NEEDLE-FELTED GNOME with Fascinating Felt. Saturday 9th November, 1.30-3.30pm, £35. Suitable for beginners over 12 years to try this mindful and relaxing craft. All tools and materials will be provided to make your very own Gnome in time for Christmas.

BLOCK PRINTED LAVENDER BAGS Saturday 16th November, with Jenny Samuels, 2-4pm £35. Create your own blocks then print and create delightful lavender bags, to gift or keep yourself!

BLOCK PRINTING FOR CHRISTMAS Saturday 7th December, with Jenny Samuels, 2-4pm £35. Create your block prints to use on coasters, baubles, tags and cards, all materials provided.

DEVELOP YOUR ABSTRACT ART PRACTICE One space left! This course of six monthly sessions is an exciting opportunity to work alongside artist Rosie Wall, Kent based abstract expressionist. Rosie will share her experience and pass on to you the things she has learnt, both practical and in terms of developing a theme, assisting you in your own explorations, helping you to find meaning and direction in your artwork, and encourage you in the development of your own practice. The course will run monthly on Sundays at The Little Studio on The Street in Ash, starting on Sunday April 21st, 11am - 3pm. Rosie will guide, encourage and be on hand in between to answer your questions.

- A brief look at Abstract Expressionist Art History
- Setting up your Workbook, Practice & Aims
- Composition/Creation & Practical Explorations

The course will cost £240 for the six sessions, which will include basic sketching materials, a workbook and a small stretched canvas on which to work towards a show piece.

Workshops will take place in the studio with plenty of ventilation. All workshop attendees are asked not to attend any event with any cold symptoms. We have reduced the number of attendees at each workshop, in order to implement social distancing. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided but if your workshop runs over the lunch period, we suggest you bring a packed lunch.
